I posted yesterday on the Bugle that there was a very little chance of rain in the forecast. Everyday I check 2 or 3 sources to try to figure out what to post about the weather.
Well, yesterday while sitting on the side of I 85 because of the rainstorm I was in, I determined the weather is forecast on the “SWAG” system, because I said there was a very little chance of rain.
The “SWAG system is a term I learned in Accident Reconstruction School. I am not sure if was and instructor from Te University of Alabama or Northwestern University.
Anyway, we would have to go and and investigate a simulated accident scene and do a scaled drawing to a predetermined scale. The way it was checked, is they would lay your drawing, which was on thin paper, over the drawing the instructor had and if it didn’t match, he would throw it back at you and say, “You used the “SWAG” system and that don’t cut it.
I was mad because my drawing was not right the first time and my dumb self asked, “What the hell is the “SWAG” system.
He said, “Price, this is just a “Scientific Wild Ass Guess” (SWAG) and that won’t cut it in this class.”
I guess the weather report is based on somebody’s “SWAG” system. It’s not mine, because if it wasn’t for spellcheck, I could even spell weather.
