8-year-old Kamau Diandi Greene of Alabaster was contacted by drug enforcement investigators on Monday, January 7, 2019 in relation to a narcotics investigation on the campus of Thompson High School.
Greene had Ecstasy, Psilocybin mushroom powder, Xanax, drug paraphernalia, a quarter pound of Marijuana, and three firearms, one of which was stolen, in his possession.
Mr. Greene has been released from Shelby County Jail on a $13,000 bond, and he has been charged with 4th degree receiving stolen property, carrying a pistol without a license, and multiple drug related charges.
According to the Drug Enforcement Task Force, this is only the second drug enforcement action on the campus of Thompson High School within two years.
