It’s been a month since the deadly tornadoes in Lee County.  A lot of people have given their time, energy and resources and it is greatly appreciated.  HELP IS STILL NEEDED!

Heavy equipment and manpower is needed for the large debris to be moved.

You may contact the Smiths Station Fire Department, Lee County EMA or the Lee County Sheriff’s Department to see where you are needed. Also, the Volunteer Reception Center is open at Smiths Station City Hall from 9 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday for anyone willing to volunteer their time and or heavy machinery.

Tornado recovery takes time.  LET’S NOT FORGET OUR NEIGHBORS!
