JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports they have found a missing person and her child.
Deputies say 17-year-old Shayla Hope Wood and her 9-month-old baby are safe and were staying with a friend in Boaz. Wood is approximately eight months pregnant, according to investigators.
They had been reported missing on March 27.
Investigators say the case is now closed.
