As many of you know, Valley Haven is a school in Chambers County that does wonders for Special Needs Individuals.
The Government matches funds up to $100,000 raised to keep this wonderful School running.
Tomorrow is the big day for the fundraising. Although many people will “HIKE / BIKE / or RUN for the event, you can use your imagination to make up funds for this event.
As depicted in this picture, a few years ago I received donations from my wonderful friends to wear this Auburn shirt. For those who know me, know this wouldn’t have happened without it being for a good cause. I had raised close to $400 for the event and Judge Isaac Whorton sweetened the pot to make it an even $500 donated and I signed the shirt with a “War Eagle” for him to have and I guess he still has it.
I know a lot of us can’t Hike, Bike or Run so today, while around the water cooler, make some friendly wagers with your friends and let the proceeds go to this wonderful cause, Valley Haven.
Also, when you take your proceeds, get to Valley Haven between 7-11 AM and enjoy the fun.
