By MAJOR MIKE REYNOLDS

On March 13, 2019, Auburn Police Detectives contacted the Valley Police Department in reference to a sexual assault that had occurred in Valley in 2018.

Valley Detectives spoke with the juvenile victim and she stated that while she was living in Valley with HEATHER RAGAN TURNER (36 years old of Auburn), TURNER would continually video and photograph her when she was in the shower. After one of these episodes an adult male (later identified as TIMOTHY ZEN HENDRIX, 27 of Newsite, AL.) showed up at the house and sexually assaulted her in the presence of TURNER. After the assault, TURNER told the victim that she would beat her if she told anyone.

When she was interviewed by detectives, TURNER admitted that she had taken photos of the victim and had sent them to HENDRIX. She also stated that HENDRIX was the adult male who had come to the house and assaulted the victim.

On March 29, 2019, TURNER was arrested in Auburn and charged with SEXUAL EXTORTION (Class B Felony). On May 9, 2019, HENDRIX was arrested in Newsite and charged with SODOMY 1ST (Class A Felony) and SEXUAL ABUSE 1ST (Class C Felony). Both were booked into the Chambers County Detention Facility and are pending bond hearings.
