COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A baby who went missing in Columbus this weekend has now been safely located and returned home, according to local authorities.

6-month-old Naomi Graham was first reported missing around 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon. Columbus police began searching for the child who was last seen near 1st Avenue.

During their investigation, Police determined Naomi might have been with a 27-year-old woman named Tami Leigh Ann Tracy, who was also declared a missing person.

Family of Naomi say the child disappeared while they were all walking near the Riverwalk in Uptown Columbus. They say they knew Tracy and never expected that she would’ve taken the child.

Naomi’s mother said this whole ordeal has made her think twice about who she allows around her children. She hopes other mothers will be cautious as well.

Following the child’s return, Tracy was taken into custody by authorities and charged with reckless conduct causing harm or endangering safety.

This is a developing story.
