For the third time in less than a week, a Dothan police officer has been assaulted.
Early Sunday, 32-year old Michael Christopher Gordon tried to run from officers who attempted to question him about property damaged at Chill Lounge, per police reports.
That’s when he is accused of punching one of those officers in the face.
Last Monday, a man struck two other officers when a search of his car revealed illegal narcotics. He ran from the scene and is still sought.
None of the officers suffered serious injuries.
