Funeral Service for Mr. Kenneth Robert Tabasky, 73, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Alexander City Independent Methodist Church. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm at Alexander City Independent Methodist Church.
Mr. Tabasky passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1946 in Boston, Massachusetts to Manuel Tabasky and Sally Tabasky. He was a member of Alexander City Independent Methodist Church. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, serving as a Plane Captain on the USS Ranger. He loved his fur babies and had a house filled with rescue cats and beloved dog, Cocoa. He enjoyed fishing in the pond below the house, and often spent his time looking for antiques and searching for arrowheads. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Beverly Tabasky; sister, Marianne Tankersley (Gene); sister-in-law, Cecelia Stansell of North Augusta, SC; brother-in-laws, Isaac Smith, James Smith, William Smith (Teresa); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
