The Alabama Department of Public Health released its updated list of confirmed COVID-19 cases Wednesday, showing a surge of more than 100 new cases.

However, while ADPH’s official tally indicates cases climbed from 283 to 386 by day’s end, the individual county numbers add up to 415.
