A single-vehicle crash at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, Apr. 5, has claimed the life of a McMinnville, OR man.
Kevin Mara, 31, was killed when the 2015 Chevrolet Sonic, in which he was the passenger, left the roadway and struck a fence. Mara was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Alexis Danielle Wright, 22, of Wetumpka was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and transported to the Elmore County Jail. Wright was not injured.
The crash occurred on Dozier Road near Woodhaven Trail, approximately 5 miles east of Wetumpka.
Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
