Good morning. I am reaching out to each of you with a concern we have. We are greatly short on poll workers.
Whether it is due to health issues, personal concerns, or related to the pandemic; we have had several of our long term and steadfast workers have to shy away from working the November 3rd General Election.
Only 3 of our polling sites are fully staffed.
You must be a resident of Chambers County to participate. There is pay for your assistance. We will discuss that with you.
I am asking each of you to either consider being a poll worker or to spread the word.
We need to be notified asap due to the fact that the appointments must occur on the 14th of October.
