A single-vehicle crash at approximately 9:27 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, has claimed the life of a Pittsview man. Brent Edward Ford, 37, was killed when the 2001 Honda Civic he was driving left the roadway and struck a bridge guardrail. Ford was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 165 approximately three miles south of Fort Mitchell, in Russell County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
