Chambers County School District Press Release: LEGACY ACRES ANNUAL PLANT SALE

LAFAYETTE – The Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter at Legacy Acres on the campus of Inspire Academy in LaFayette is once again preparing for its annual spring plant sale. Students have been busy growing a variety of plants that will be sold to the public.

“Our inventory this year includes hanging baskets featuring wandering jews, geraniums, and merry golds, as well as tomatoes, peppers, and assorted house plants,” said Horticultural instructor Jordan Harris. “We encourage people to shop early for the best selection.”

The plants will go on sale beginning Monday, April 5, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 noon, CDT, and continue daily until sold out. To schedule a purchase for a different time, contact Jordan Harris via email at [email protected]

All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit future FFA projects at Legacy Acres.
