OPELIKA POST — A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:41 a.m. Friday, May 28, has claimed the life of a Salem man. Theodore Armour, 84, was fatally injured when the 2004 Mercedes C240 he was driving collided with a 2015 Jeep Patriot driven by Misty Rich, 47, of Auburn. Armour succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Lee County 430, approximately one mile west of Smiths Station, in Lee County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
