CHAMBERS COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL POSITIONS
LAFAYETTE – The Chambers County Board of Education has approved the hiring of four new Assistant Principals.
Wendy Robinson, who has served as a Pre-k teacher at Huguley Elementary School since 2006, will become the new Assistant Principal at Valley High School.
While at Huguley, Mrs. Robinson was a member of the school leadership team, Positive Behavior Support Committee, Budget Committee, and served as substitute principal in the principal’s absence.
Mrs. Robinson earned her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University, and obtained her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.
Wendy Johnson, who currently serves as a Business and Information Technology teacher at Inspire Academy and an Adjunct Business Instructor at Southern Union State Community College, will assume the new role of Assistant Principal at W. F. Burns Middle School.
Mrs. Johnson, who previously served as a Business Technical teacher at LaFayette and Valley High Schools, earned her bachelors degree in Business Education from Alabama A&M University. She also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Troy University, a master’s in Administrator of Elementary and Secondary Education from Auburn University, and an Educational Specialists degree in Technology from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
