Agri-Science students at Inspire Academy in LaFayette have been busy over the past few weeks preparing for their annual Christmas poinsettia sale. A total of 400 festive plants will go on sale to the public beginning Monday, November 22, 2021, at 7:30 a.m. CST.
“The plants are $6.00 each and can be wrapped in either green, gold, or silver foil,” said Agri-Science instructor Jordan Harris. “The main hours of the sale will be from 7:30 until 11:00 a.m. CST, Monday through Friday, but anyone wishing to make a purchase at a more convenient time can simply call the school and make arrangements for pickup.”
No plants will be sold during the Thanksgiving holiday period, but purchases will resume on Monday, November 29, and continue while supplies last.
All proceeds from the sale benefit other Agri-Science activities conducted in conjunction with studies provided through Future Farmers of America.
