ALEX CITY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, has claimed the life of a Rockford man. Michael T. Steadman, 47, was critically injured when the 2003 Honda Accord he was driving left the roadway and struck an embankment. Steadman was transported to Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Dudleyville Road, approximately seven miles west of Dadeville, in Tallapoosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
