A visitation for Mr. Frank Edmondson, age 60 of Lineville, will be held at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Mr. Edmondson will be private.
Mr. Edmondson passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the UAB Medical Center. He was a Clay County native and lived all his life in Clay and Randolph County. Mr. Edmondson was a graduate of Lineville High School – Class of 1976- and had worked as an automobile mechanic for Bishop’s Garage for over 30 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved auto racing.
Mr. Edmondson is survived by two sons: Jason Edmonson of Alexandria and Justin Edmondson of Lineville; two grandsons: Gage and Tanner Edmonson of Alexandria; two sisters: Ann Napier of Ashland and Mildred Freeman of Roanoke; two brothers: Donald Edmondson (Diane) and Jerry Edmondson (Angie) of Lineville.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John Wyatt Edmondson and Fannie Belle Triplett Edmondson and three brothers: Robert Edmondson, Bobby “Squirrel” Edmonson and John Edmondson Jr.
Flowers will be accepted; however, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Clay County Rescue Squad, 453 Taylor Road, Lineville, AL 36266 or the Hospice of Clay County, P. O. Box 1270, Ashland, AL 36251.
