The Obituary for Mr. Dewey Eastridge


Funeral Service for Mr. Dewey Lee Eastridge, 60, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Pastor Donnie Meherg and Rev. Rogers Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.

Mr. Eastridge passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1958 in Opelika, Alabama to Albert Lee Eastridge and Geraldine Hunt Eastridge Kellum. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God. Lee was a hard worker. He enjoyed tinkering and working with his hands. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to flea markets and auctions. Lee had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.

He is survived by his special friend and companion, Theresa Ann Metcalf; son, David Eastridge (Amaiya Hauck); grandchildren, Dylan Eastridge, Isabella Ketchum and Gibson McDaniel; mother, Geraldine Kellum; step-mother, Kathy Eastridge; sisters, Sandra Wilson and Liz Scott; step-sisters, Penny Stewart and Wanda Harris of Fairhope; step-brother, Darrel High; sister-in-law, Donna Peppers; special sons, Derrick Whitman and Terry Colvin; special friends, Randy Moran, Coker Bailey and Randall Tyson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Lee Eastridge; wife, Nancy Eastridge; and granddaughter, Ashley Eastridge.
