The Obituary for Mrs. Annette S. Crawford


Funeral Service for Mrs. Annette S. Crawford, 83, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Donald DeLee and Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Munford Memorial Cemetery at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crawford passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 peacefully at her home. She was born on June 11, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia to Lonnie Daniel and Nellie Daniel. She was an active member of West End Baptist Church. She had great pride in her work as a sewing machine operator at Russell Mills for many years before becoming a nurse’s assistant at Chapman Healthcare. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fanatic. She loved her family dearly and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Carl Reeves (Tina) of Daviston, AL and Wayne Reaves (Tracy) of Jacksons Gap, AL; daughters, Mary Easterwood (Bubba), Dorothy Lowe (Dan) of Sherburne, NY, and Margaret Reaves (Teauna) of Sylacauga, AL; daughter-in-law, Sheila Gulledge; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of twenty six years, Alvin Hobbs Crawford; first husband, Mark Reaves; sons, William Dial “Moose” Reaves, Sr. and Hank Fenton Reaves; granddaughter, Dakota Cheyenne Reaves; sisters, Bessie Reaves, Daisy Houston, and Onie Williams; brothers, Bossie Daniel, Henry Daniel, and Lewis Daniel.
