Memorial Service for William “Bill” Albury, 71, of Alexander City, Alabama will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Bill passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Russell Medical. He was born on February 8, 1948 in Dade County, Florida to Carl Jackson Albury and Mary Green Albury. Bill was a retired Vietnam War Marine Corps Veteran. He also retired from the Jacksonville Florida Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the VFW, FOP and the Alexander City Independent Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill was a motor and gear head and had a special love for his 1966 Chevrolet Panel Truck.

He is survived by his wife, Karen G. Albury; aunt, Hester Jean Green; sister in law, Brenda G. Guthrie; brothers in law, Lane B. Guthrie (Sally), Forrest Kent Guthrie and Steve Buser and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister in law, Jill Marie Buser.

Memorials may be made to the Alexander City Independent Methodist Church.
