Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley A. Fables Robertson, age 81 of Cragford, will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Scott Jordan and Rev. Raymond Long officiating. Burial will follow in Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Robertson passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her residence. A native and life-long resident of Clay County, she and her husband raised their family here. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that loved her family and loved to GO. She worked at Wellborn Forest Products for over 29 years, also Wellborn Cabinet, the Lineville Lunch Room for several years and was a long time member of County Line Baptist Church. She loved fishing and taking care of every critter that found her house.
She is survived by three children: Ricky Robertson (Debbie) of Ashland, Shelia Robertson of Mellow Valley and Dwayne Robertson (Janet) of Mellow Valley; five grandchildren: Adam Robertson (Elena) of Lineville, Greg Robertson (Shannah) of Ashland, Jaycie and Brooklyn Robertson of Cragford and Anna Siggers of Cragford; three great-grandchildren: Reese, Elynn and Drake Robertson; two sisters: Lounell Sprayberry of Lineville and Sue Thompson of Cragford; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Robertson; parents: John W. Fables and Eunice Mabry Fables; three brothers: John W. Fables Jr., Bobby Ray Fables and Terry Fables; three sisters: Frances West, Doris Saffold and Flossie Hardeman,.
Active Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hardeman, Randy Hardeman, Butch Sprayberry, Scott Sprayberry, Jimmy Fables, Skipper Fables, Tony Fables and Rodney West.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and until service time at 11:00 A.M.
