The Obituary for Miss Tammie Michelle Smith (Tallapoosa County)


Funeral Service for Miss Tammie Michelle Smith, 47, of Alexander City, will be Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Miss Smith passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Bibb Medical Center in Centreville. She was born on January 17, 1973 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Roger Lee Smith and Patricia Lee Stewart Reaves. Tammie was a sweet and loving girl. She loved everyone and was a friend to everybody and never said a bad thing about anyone. She was good as gold and loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved playing with her dolls, legos, coloring in books and singing. Tammie was an inspiration to everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her brothers, James D. Champion, Jr. of Middleburg, FL and Johnny D. Wyatt II (Stacey) of Linden, NC; sisters, Beverly A. Smith of Remlap, AL and Betty Jean Dungan (Terry) of Crestview, FL; several nieces and nephews; mother, Patricia Lee Reaves of Brent, AL; and grandmother, Annie Lane of Marion, AL.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Roger Lee Smith.
