The Obituary for Mr. Gregory Michael Spence (Tallapoosa County)

Funeral Service for Mr. Gregory Michael Spence, 46, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Steve King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Spence passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Russell Medical. He was born on April 2, 1973 in Northridge, California to Jimmie Lee Spence and Judith Ann Stuart Spence. Greg loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a hard worker and his family was very important to him. Greg was a collector of many “broken items – boats, motorcycles, lawnmowers and chainsaws”. He was very compassionate, loving and giving friend to many and he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sheri Marie Spence of Alexander City; daughters, Victoria Jane Spence of Alexander City and Amber Marie Hughes (Joshua) of Montevallo; sons, Gregory Michael Spence, Jr. (Hanna) of Birmingham and Dalton Blake Spence of Alexander City; grandchildren, Nicholas Aaron Hughes, Ashton Michael McDaniel, Reagan Alyse Hughes and Maya Marie McDaniel; parents, Jim and Judy Spence of Alexander City; brother, Daniel Scott Spence (Chrisie) of Wilsonville; and grandfather, Clarence Weldon Spence of Bend, Oregon.
