The Obituary for Mr. William “Bill” Delburt Lyndsley (Tallapoosa County)

Mr. William “Bill” Delbert Lyndsley, 62, of Alexander City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born on December 16, 1957 in Gowanda, New York to Lawrence Dewayne Lyndsley, Sr. and JoAnn Mitchell Sauberan.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jane Lyndsley of Alexander City; son, Aaron Lyndsley (Kaitlyn); daughters, Jennifer Hall (Johnathan) and Samantha Williams (Juston); grandchildren, Jace Hall, Steven Hall and Christopher Hall; step-grandchildren, Gracie Butler and Gage Butler; brothers, Lawrence Lyndsley, Jr. (Sue) and Joseph Lyndsley (Luann); sister-in-law, Linda Mason (Audie); and nephews, Michael Barrett (Amber), Travis Johnston (M’ahrie), Alex Mason and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Joseph Sauberan; grandchildren, Jacob Hall and Tyler Hall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Sarah Johnston; and nephew, Patrick Lyndsley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Encompass Hospice and Home Health, for the wonderful care and support that has been extended to the family.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
