Funeral Service for Mr. Larry G. Smith, 64, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center-Lanier in Valley, AL. He was born on February 7, 1956 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Elbert Smith and Meverlyn Stewart Smith. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and in general just being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hunter Smith of Alexander City; son, Brandon L. Smith; daughter, Megan N. Gaspar; grandchildren, Alicia D. Reyes, Elijah D. Gaspar, Kandice M. Gaspar, Alex R. Smith; sisters, Sandra A. (Wayne) Henry, Kathy (Lupe) Ramirez; Teresa Hunter, Sandy Hunter; brothers, Tommy W. (Amy) Smith, Rocky Hunter; seven nephews; five nieces and fourteen great- nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
