The Obituary for Mr. Milton Jackson “Jack” McClellan (Tallapoosa County)

Funeral Service for Mr. Milton Jackson “Jack” McClellan, 77, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Marshall Street Church. Rev. Rick Levell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. McClellan passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on April 5, 1943 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Ruben Hershel McClellan and Emma Duane Mosley McClellan. Mr. McClellan was a retired Supervisor from the US Postal Service with a strong work ethic; being a very good steward of his finances. Mr. McClellan was an Army National Guard Veteran. He was an active member of Marshall Street Church which he loved dearly. Mr. McClellan was a family man who loved his family dearly; especially his grandsons. He also had a passion for working in his yard, working with Radney Funeral Home, and going to sporting events for his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha L. McClellan; daughter, Melissa Hanners (Eric); son, Jeffrey McClellan; grandsons, Blake McClellan and Cody Hanners; sister, Sandra Gipson, and brother, Kerman McClellan (Denise).

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria Stearns.
