Eileen Mary (Dionne) Beauchene, 75, of Opelika, Alabama passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. She was born September 14, 1945 in New Britain, Connecticut.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pierre J. Dionne; her brother, John P. Dionne; and her sister, Janice L. Ross.
She is survived by her husband, John D. Beauchene; her sister Jacqueline M. Bezrutczyk and her husband Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC; her three daughters, Marlene Highfill of Opelika, Kimberly (Kendall) Price of Auburn, AL; and Michelle (Steve) Burt of Saint Peters, MO; and her son, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) David (Catherine) Beauchene of Jeffersonton, VA; seven grandchildren (oldest to youngest); Kenneth Bastian, Derrick Bastian, Troy Bastian, Storme Dodd, Andrew Highfill, Jordan Highfill, and Nathan Price; three great-grandchildren, Aaminah Dodd, Kenler Bastian, and Talan Bastian. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Her memorial service will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in Opelika on Monday, January 4th, at 11:00 am. Due to the on-going pandemic, we ask all friends and family who wish to attend to please wear a mask for the health of all those present.
The family asks to please make a donation to East Alabama Medical Center Foundation in lieu of flowers.
