Graveside service for Mr. Tony Earl Moore, Sr., 61, of Opelika, AL will be held at 1:00 pm (cst) Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Pleasant Hill AME Cemetery in Salem, AL. Rev. Loretta Fuller will deliver the eulogy and Rev. Antonio Thomas will officiate.
Mr. Moore passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home. In 1977, he graduated from Smith Station High School. He served in the US Army, retiring after twenty years of service.
Public viewing will be held Friday from 4:00 – 6 pm.
He is survived by: his wife, Tonie Robinson Moore of Opelika, AL; four children, Lakashka Terree Moore of Fayetteville, NC, Tony Earl Moore, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, LaTora Todd (Jahrod) Jackson of Montgomery, AL and Christopher (Alicia) Brown of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren; five siblings, Vivian (Timothy) Woodson of Columbus, GA, Rev. Loretta Fuller of Salem, AL, Tammy (Harry) Henderson of Bonaire, GA, Cassandra Moore of Atlanta, GA and James (Angela) Moore of Phenix City, AL; three aunts, Corene McCoy and Precious Weeks both of Smith Station, AL and Lula (Nathaniel) Walker of Atlanta, GA; an uncle, Bennie Seldon of Motts, AL; his father-in-law, Lee J. Robinson of Cusseta, AL; three sisters-in-law, Diana (Bruce) Carter of Gainesville, FL, Debra (William) Gunn and Brenda (Anthony) Threat both of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
