The Obituary for Mrs. Debra Keel (Tallapoosa & Coosa Counties)


Funeral Service for Mrs. Debra Keel, 66, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Friday, June 25, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the God’s House Church.  Rev. Roger Green will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Methodist Hackneyville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at God’s House Church.

Mrs. Keel passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital.  She was born on February 24, 1955, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Clarence Huel Goodwin and Robbie   Marable.  She was a member of God’s House Church. Debra was a loving mother to her children, fur babies, grandchildren and great-grandchild.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Laine Cotney (Daniel); son, Brandon Bryan Sr. (Sonya); grandchildren, Brandon Bryan Jr., Cheyenne Bryan, Serenity Stager; great-grandchild, Blaise Welcher; mother, Robbie Marable; brothers, Tommy Lynn Goodwin, Phillip Huel Goodwin (Patti); aunt, Helen McLeod; nephew, Jeremy Lynn Goodwin and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, David Glenn Keel and her father.
