Mrs. Judith Crowe Welsh, of Opelika passed away on Monday, February 14th in the comfort of her home surronded by loved ones. The family is going to have a private memorial for family and close friends.
Mrs. Judith was a medical transcriptionist for over 55 years. She retired at the age of 74 and spent her days watching wild birds, reading, and spending time with her dog, Toby. She loved collecting many things, but Santa Clauses were her favorite. She loved Christmas and her home decor showed it.
She was preceded in death by her father Wiley Crowe, her mother Elizabeth Crowe; her brother James (Jane) Crowe. She is survived by her husband of 59 years James Welsh; sister Betty Shotts; sister Mary (Dennis) Tremelling; son Skip Welsh; son Jeffrey (Hayley) Welsh; daughter Jennifer (Johnny) Washburn. She had eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to Chattahoochee Hospice.
