Funeral service for Otis Shealey of, 83, of Opelika, AL, formerly Camp Hill, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Byron Matthews will officiate. (Facial covering is required)
Mr. Shealey, who passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Bill Nichols Veterans Home in Alexander City, AL, was born April 17, 1939 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish memory: wife, Tommycine Shealey of Opelika, AL; three children, Sharon Carlisle of Phenix City, AL, Otis (Danielle) Battle of Ayden, NC and Otis Frank Shealey, Jr. of Opelika, AL; eight grandchildren, Jessica James of Columbus, GA, Patrice Marbury of Phenix City, AL, Rhiana Shealey-Brown of Opelika, AL, Briana Shealey-Brown of Jacksonville, FL, Barrington Boyd of Opelika, AL, Shondalyn Shealey of Keller, TX , Sha’myyah Meredith of Opelika, AL and Tasia Battle of Bronx, NY; twelve great grandchildren; one aunt, Carrie Lee Brummitt of Nashville, TN; one son-in-law, Willie Meredith of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Richardson of Fresno, CA and JoAnn (Thomas) Brown of Pikesville, NC; one brother-in-law, Johnny (Rose) Brown of San Diego, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
